Innovation Lions 2018: full shortlist + all case studies

Every year in June, the advertising industry directs its eyes to the French Riviera, because in Cannes takes place the festival of creativity and accompanying Golden Lions – the most important awards of the advertising industry last year. Although the category is up to 26 and every year I browse them all, watching every single campaign (it lasts a good few days), one shortlist strongly draws my attention. These are, of course, nominations for the Golden Lion in the Innovation category, which were announced today. This year, 21 concepts from all over the world compete for the title of the most innovative project. We have to summon up a little patience because the announcement of the winner will happen on 21st of June during the Innovation Lions Gala.

Following my annual tradition, I publish a full list of case studies of this year’s nominations. Which in your opinion deserve the Golden Lion in Cannes most? Who would you give your one vote to? Let me know. My front-runner this year is the Project Revoice campaign. An incredible story of a man who initiated the Ice Bucket Challenge a few years ago, collecting more than US $ 115 million for people with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. Enjoy watching.
